Who likes a bit of luxury when they're travelling?
We do!
This morning we moved from our budget apartment accommodation of the past week to the Anantara-Sathorn, a 5 star hotel that had a 72 hour sale of reaaaally cheap prices. The room they gave us was outstanding, but after only one hour, we decided to upgrade even more to the 37th floor that includes 'lounge access' - free food and drinks all day, plus free 24 hr wifi.
"The pillows are like marshmallows", Georgia said. Yes they are, compared to the 'stale sponge cakes' we slept on for the last week.
So we're not leaving the hotel until tomorrow; there's too much luxury to be enjoyed right here and we think we deserve it. After all, we're here for a good time, not a long time. Would you do the same if you had the chance?
We'll save the scrimping and saving for Spain in a weeks time.
Ooh...very nice indeed. I have to admit that we both like our luxury when we go away too. It's great to see you two having such a good time. Building a house is kinda like childbirth. The pain and agony during the process is soon forgotten and shortly you want another! Or is this just a lame male point of view?? Anyway have a great trip. Mark and Urszula
