Going back in time.

It's around 7 am Italy/Switzerland time and we're on our way to Zurich on a Swiss Air A321. We have a short stop-over in Zurich before another quick flight to Malaga, in Andalusia Spain, where we'll be staying for the next month.
The sun is trying to come up but we keep flying away from it so we feel as if we're suspended in Sunday's dawn. Georgie and I are marvelling at the snow capped Swiss Alps below and can spot what appears to be a ski resort, night lights still twinkling amongst its snowy surrounds. Very thrilling for us to see this sort of scenery.
There are no more than two dozen people onboard this aircraft, I'm surprised they even run the flight for that few. The Captain has just said the temperature on the ground is -6 degrees! I'd better get out my jumper.
Both of us feel refreshed after the long flight from Bangkok, it was 11 hours long and we had at least 7-8 hours sleep in the upstairs section of the B747. I know I keep saying it, but I'm never going back. The cost to upgrade (for those that actually pay for it ;) is worth every cent for the comfort, space and service that makes flying such incredible fun on a long flight. Not to mention the Thai spa massages before the flight and the use of the slumber rooms in the lounge. Georgie got about 1.5 hours sleep before we even boarded at midnight, so that was a bonus for her.
Have a look at some of the pics below of the mountains at sunrise - spectacular!
Also snow covered Zurich; Georgie was sooooo frustrated as we disembarked and snow a foot thick was just on the other side of the walkway glass. So close and yet so far. All she wants to do is make a snow angel and throw snowballs at me. Probably a good thing that she can't reach it!
